About Panache
The United States Pony Clubs, Inc., develops character, leadership, confidence and a sense of community in youth through a program that teaches the care of horses and ponies, riding and mounted sports.
Panache Pony Club was founded on April 5, 1988 and has been an ongoing club since. The club has always been located in or around Davis, California and is currently holding lessons at either Capstone Farm or Willow Creek Horse Park. The club offers monthly mounted lessons by visiting instructors and monthly unmounted instruction in various areas of horse management. As part of the Sierra Pacific Region we can offer our members access to D Rallies, Show Jumping Rallies, Eventing Rallies, Dressage Rallies and summer riding camps. There are also numerous educational clinics, both mounted and unmounted to increase your skills and knowledge. We are proud to have sent several of ours members to Pony Club Championships over the years and even one member to the Olympics.
USPC Pony Clubs and Riding Centers are assigned to one of 41 geographical regions, which are administered by a volunteer Regional Supervisor (RS) and other appointed and elected officers. Regions offer additional activities and opportunities for members and support for the club and center leaders under their administration.
